Mother Tongue Week Reflection XD

This week at SWA we were celebrating Mother Tongue week. Tuesday was Asian day, which were for Indonesian, Koreans and Chinese. The Chinese and Korean students and parents worked really hard and imaginative to share their own cultures with other nationalities. I was really enjoyed watching the Chinese singers and dancers. I also introduced the culture of Korea to my friends and people who were interested in Korea culture. They looked joyful when they wrote their own names using Korean characters. At lunchtime, there was a Korean fan dance performance in the Bamboo court and everyone was invited to come and watch the performance. The Korean Fan Dance was lead by Jessica and Na Hyeon in Grade 10 and the dance group was beautiful unforgettable. Some of audience tried to follow the steps of dance and it looked great when other nationalities learnt about the culture about Korea. While we have fewer Korean students than Indonesian students at SWA, we were still trying our best to raise the awareness of our country in a fantastic style.
